without a doubt,my choice would be mother teresa.her selfless,self-sacrificing spirit,generous,tender-hearted nature, made her a true saint.she took special notice of lost, lonely, and rejected people who society had no use for.she gave them the love, tenderness, and mercy they desperately needed.in mother teresa's eyes, everyone is a child of god.and everyone needs love and kindness and gentleness just as much as anyone.she really set out to make a difference, and she showed the true love of jesus.god bless her.she was truly a wonderful, giving, and beautiful woman.her life's focus was to find the lonely, rejected, forgotten people of the world.and show that they're not forgotten.and they're loved and extremely valuable in the eyes of their creator.she didnt look for the attention to be on herself.every thing she did,was to bring the attention to jesus, the real jesus.the loving, compassionate, infinitely merciful savior who loves everyone beyond our comprehension.mother teresa didnt make anyone feel guilty or ashamed over their[our] imperfections.she truly saw every human being as a child of god,who needed love and kindness.and she gave that love, that kindness, that gentleness.so many people had never known love or kindness.but mother teresa took special notice of those precious people.and she showed them how truly important they are,and how much jesus loves them.
i like a few others.i mean, there's lots of great people who have impacted my life greatly.they all have their special place in my heart.but if i would pick just one,one that really stood out to me among all the others,it would definitely be mother teresa.

Saint Thomas More. Defender of the Church. Wrote "Utopia". The man had a sense of humour, and refused to sacrifice his ideals. He died for what he believed in, and other than that he is the Patron Saint of Lawyers, I like him very much. St. Augustus would be a distant second for me.

San Lorenzo, the patron saint of barbecue. I lived in the San Lorenzo Valley of the Santa Cruz Mountains in California for many years, and that's where I heard this. Apparently it's because he was martyred on a grate something like a barbecue.

I don't think they ate him, though . . .

Saint Bush is my favorite.

He waged war against towel-heads so Jesus could live in peace here in America. Don't worry, arabs don't have souls and aren't people. Also, technically Bush hasn't been sainted yet.

I think that Joan of Arc is interesting. She was a political leader, but she had to deny her gender in order to follow god.
