86 behind but no body but Gordon mathematically can beat Johnson
Anything can happen.

Gordon gives it away with the press to Johnson... another season... Homestead Miami if he wrecks Jeff sez he doesn't want it that way anyway.
Question I have is who does Mrs Johnson's teeth? Looks like my dentist work ! When I could afford him :)

Speaking of blinding lights the stat's on lighting the race track in Miami are not very green. Like enough watts to light a neighborhood for a year vs. one nite only !! all google Homestead Miami.com

With the kind of mojo Johnson has been getting, I don't think he'll blow an engine. Maybe Kyle will take him out as a going away present, but I don't think that will happen.
Jeff is the better driver, but Johnson has Knaus. Even when Johnson does something wrong, it turns out right for him. With the kind of luck that those guys have been getting, I think we hear the Fat Lady singing.

Jimmie will have to have a major mulligan at homestead...Congrats Jimmie, we don't even have to wait for the checkers at homestead, its done already.. I can't see Jimmie having a bad race, he seems to be immune to this, he had a couple bad races earlier in the season, but I do not see that happening.. Great repeat championship Jimmie..I just can't see you finishing lower than 18th next week..

#24 was frustrated, and lost his head w/that retaliation. That pit stop and the damage cost him any chance of getting the win.

#48 ran a great race and deserved the win.

Next and last stop: Homestead. Gonna be an HMS driver that wins the Cup, and Johnson's definitely in the driver's seat.

Yawn. At least if Johnson comes out the champion it won't be with one boring win and endless cautious 8th place finishes all season to do it (thanks a lot kenseth for the chase format LOL)

Jimmie has to finish 18th or better next week for the back to back championship. It's not over yet. That's a nice cushion, but it's not a guarantee.

If Johson finishes 18th or better he wins--Gordon is the only one who can possibly catch him. But he wont!!!!!

yep doesn't matter how well you run 29 top 10s, 1 DNF someone that hasn't run as well even though they have 4 wins in a row can come steel the championship.

I'm tired of the Nascar focus on Gordon and Johnson this year. I'm hoping next year will be a turnaround for Junior and he will be back on his game.

he has atleast an 80 point lead, but he does not have it locked because he could blow an engine at the beginning or something, so you can never rule anything out.
