Is there such a thing as a diesel powered home heating system?

If so, is it more effencient than oil heating means?

Meg's right...diesel and home fuel oil are basically the same which is why diesel prices go up in winter when there's strong demand for home heating fuel in some areas.

Diesel oil and heating oil are the same stuff.
