Yup, been there....there are different meds that they can give you when you have the chemo, to try to help hold off the nausea for a few days.(in your IV)...I've pretty much relied on compazine tabs to help me, depending on which chemo I'm on (this is the 3rd time on chemo in 3 years and it's been different ones at different times)...be sure to tell your doctor the next time you see him/her....they can change your meds for you.....
mood swings sort of come with the teritory when you are a female on chemo....it messes with your hormones something awful! Sent me into early menapause and have had to live with some god awful hot flashes ever since...they calm down once I am done with the chemo, but everytime I get a dose of it...bam! hot flashes kick in and mood swings with it!

I wish you all the best as you battle this freakin disease....I'm living for the day when they find the cure...for all types of cancer!!!! Try to keep a good attitude and a sense of humor about things...it will help you get thru it.....

I remember it being pretty bad. Ask for something to help with the nausea. It get's a little easier just before you have the next treatment. It will be good when you are through with the treatment. Don't push yourself during this time. It isn't worth it.

Unfortunately this is normal with chemotherapy. My son went through it too. Docs don't prepare patients for this though. Ask your doc to give you some IV Mesna to help with the nausea just before they start your infusion. It did help a little for my son. DO NOT let them give you the oral stuff. It is soooooooo nasty, tastes like something left over from biological warfare.

Hi, I'm not going thru chemo at all, but my mother did and she would use the actual ginger root, cut a small slice and either chew on it or suck it. That cut down on her nausea. I hope you feel better!
