Ask your mom if she can please make an exception just this once. I messed up my daughters birthday that way. I wanted a huge, elaborate party with 50 people and she just wanted something simple with her friends. She spent the entire time her party was going on upstairs in the bed with a migraine and throwing up. I'll never forget that. I wish I had listened to her.

At least your mom is taking you at all. Some kids will never be able to go to disneyland =/
You can't get there without her, can you? You're very lucky to have her take you there as well as pay for you and you're friend. She doesn't have to do that. Birthday parties are not a privelege.
Besides, I'm sure your mom hasn't had a proper bday party or anyone to take her out and pay for her and her guests in a long time as well. -_-;
I can symapthize with the fact that it would mean a lot to you if your party was on the actual day of your bday but if it's just not possible, then there's nothing you can do about it but suck it up, get Mickey's autograph and eat some cake.
I always have midterm exams on my bday and sometimes I even have to do an exam for my least favorite subject. It sucks but that's life.

Your birthday isn't an excuse to not go to school. And have you even talked to your friends parents about her missing school also? I am sure your mother doesn't want to be put into that situation with the other girls parents. I know there is no way I would allow my kids to miss school for anything other then being sick or a family issue. So your mother is doing the right thing. Be happy she is willing to let you do what you want for your birthday, she isn't doing this to hurt you or make you upset. See if your mom will take you and your friend out to dinner on your birthday or something. So you can at least do something special on that day.

deal with it. most people stop celebrating their birthdays about 12, only to pick it up again for "sweet 16" or turning 18 or 21, some "special" birthday. it's just another day, and it's a school day. you have NO choice whatsoever. suck it up and deal with it maturely I'm not saying you're a brat, I'm saying your being ridiculously immature. it's not that big a deal, it means nothing either way, it's just a trip to disney. going on the weekend is easier, and you ought to be grateful you get to go at all, and not be asking your mother to do something that probably would make life harder all around. She's sacrificed enough for you already, don't demand more of her. that's utterly selfish, birthday or not, you ought to care about others and how things affect them.

Maybe it's because your mom can't do it on the exact day of your birthday just be happy that your going period. I never got the opportunity to go to Disneyland/World because my mom could not afford it so be grateful that you are going to be given the opportunity to go. Have fun. By the way what difference does it make, your still going right???? And ruining your birthday plans would be canceling the trip!

Poor little baby, you don't get what you want so you come on here & rant about it, hoping that people will take your side.
I wouldn't let you miss a school day just to go to Disneyland, I don't care if it's your birthday or not. I assume your mom's paying for your admittance isn't she?

Print this out and put it in your baby book, cause someday you will look back at this and laugh at just how immature you were at 15!!!
