I have a TomTom ONE XL and want to add a new voice/voices but I don't have a clue how to do it.
I dowloaded some from a web site but can't seem to get em to work.
I've read from other questions I need to drag n drop them but to where and how??
Any help much appreciated !!

What file did you download? If it's a xxxxx.zip file then you need to unzip (expand) it before adding it to your tomtom. Otherwise have a look at the files in the voices folder and check that your new files are in the same format. You may have to install them using tomtom home program. TT can be a bit fussy about what files you use so you may have got something that simply won't work. Remember you have to go through the tt menus to select the voice to use after it's installed.

Plug the tomtom into the USB port.
Open "my computer" and it will appear as a disk/mass storage

Open it and open the sounds folder which contains the voices

drag the voice files into this folder.

What the PC recognises shoudn't matter. The PC isn't going to be playing them. This method worked fine on mine.
