He is God. That is why when people came to worship Him He did not stop them.

Jesus is not a god. He IS GOD....a part of the Divine Trinity. Jesus, God and The Holy Spirit.
Dr. Walter Martin: "It is a well-known fact of chemistry that plain water, when placed in a vacuum under 230 millimeters of gas pressure and at a temperature of 0 degrees Centigrade, solidifies into ice at the bottom of the container, remains liquid in the center and vaporizes at the top! At a given instant the same water is both solid, liquid and gas, yet all three are manifestations of the same basic substance or nature: H2O - hydrogen: two parts; oxygen: one. If one of the simplest of all created substances can be three in manifested form and yet remain one in nature, then the Creator of that substance can surely be Father, Son and Holy Spirit - three Persons and one Nature - without any violation of logic or reason whatever if He so wills."

Because in the bible it somehow talks about jesus being there in the beginning.. however i think you are mistaken when you say "A God"....Most people think that Jesus is an "embdiment" of God... so supposedly he's not really A GOD, but more that he is one with The God... buht it depends on what denomination one belongs too..there are alot of different views out there.... I don't have any personal opinion on this, i am just saying what most Christians say....

Well, .... We believe that God is a trinity (3 in 1) and that includes God the Father, God the Son and God the Spirit. The Old Testement starts out Saying "we". The entire old testement is about God's showing us that we need a savior and then he offered HIMSELF as the son, Jesus to be that for us. (grace). When Jesus left earth in the bodily form he sent the helper (holy spirit) which is here with believers now. I hope that helps a little.

Jesus is of divine origin, the first born of all creation ,this one was directly created by GOD the Almighty and all other things where created for him and through him so he is a god. John quoted Jesus as saying that he received his life from his Father, God. There was an interruption of this life, not when “the Word became flesh,” but when he was killed as a man and lay dead for three days. Then he was restored to life by Almighty God’s power, to be alive forevermore, immortal. At his resurrection Jesus Christ was God’s creation or a creation by God. But at the very beginning of all creation Jesus was God’s creation, a creature produced by God. As the Word “in the beginning” in heaven he was the first of God’s creation, “the chief of the creation of God.” (Yg) By means of him as an agent God made all other things, as stated in John 1:3. He was not the Origin or Originator of God’s creation. He was, rather, the Original One of God’s creation.

Romans 9:5
Theirs are the patriarchs, and from them is traced the human ancestry of Christ, who is God over all, forever praised! Amen.
Zechariah 12:10
"And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for Him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for Him as one grieves fo a firstborn son.
Matthew 28:17
When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted.
I've had so hard a time understanding or believing this, until I found these verses. I recorded them in my Bible, so I could always read them if I forget in the future. I hope these help you also. God Bless!

In actuallity everyone should look at Jesus as being God. Because He is.
Read the gospel of John. His account speaks of the Diety of Jesus Christ.
For example, John 1:1 In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and THE WORD WAS GOD.
Jesus Christ is the living Word.
He is the word incarnate.
Jesus said that "if you have seen Me you have seen the Father."
Jesus said that " I and the Father are One."

i think some people confuse Jesus with being a God because they are instructed to pray to God in Jesus' name. some people don't understand that Jesus and God are separate entities and they kind of mesh Jesus into being a God when He really isn't.

the structure or formula for God is not really something we can totally fully explain easily. People have been debating the Trinity concept for many many years, even though it is not a term that we explicitly see in the Bible. What is important is how we view God's authority in our lives.
For example, you couldn't say you believe in Jesus without accepting the power and authority of the Holy Spirit, nor then could you reject God the Father's status as provider. To us mere humans, they are essentially all God. if you blaspheme the Holy Spirit you blaspheme against God. If you were to ignore Jesus sacrifice you are rejecting the Father's offer of salvation and the opportunity for restored relationship with the Father by the Holy Spirit. Such is their unity that you can't believe or follow just one "part of God" because to us they all have the same authority over our lives.
Thinking correctly about God's offer of salvation through Christ, and the promise of the Holy Spirit to change our lives is essential to understanding God's nature, because He has fully revealed himself to us through Christ and the testimony of the Holy Spirit. Pray about it, ask God to reveal himself to you through His word, and rely daily on His Spirit to lead and guide you into truth.
I hope you find the answers you are looking for...
