Souls can exist without a body and senses. And who is to say we are with Him before we are resurrected. Perhaps we will be waiting and continuing to progress before we are resurrected and are judged.

How can you say the soul has no body or senses?
Do you not know that all mankind were held in death, the place known as death as the prisoners of the devil.
The unrighteous in the lower part of death and hell the the righteous in the upper.
The righteous could not enter the kingdom of God. Although they were deemed righteous because of the heart, they still had to make confession unto salvation as spoke of in Roman 10:9,10.
They could not do this until Jesus defeated death. That is why it is written that Jesus went into the lower parts and preached to the captive spirits.
So how could those righteous souls, being held captive by the the devil make confession unto salvation if they did not have a mouth?
And those who die in Christ and await the resurrection are in a far, far more glorious place, having far, far more enjoyment then when they were here on this earth.
Do you not understand that man cannot fathom the wonder things the Lord has for those who love him.

Genesis 2:7 says that man came to be a living soul. Since man was not given a soul, the man is a soul and the soul dies with the man. In Psalms 146:4 says that when a man dies his thoughts perish. Also we are not with Christ when we die as it says in Ezekiel 18:4 that all souls belong to God. The immortality of the soul as a greek philosophy mixed with christian teachings. All souls await a resurrection as it says in John 5:28

The Bible says in Genesis 2:7 that Adam became a living soul after he was created from dust and after God blew into his nostrils the breath of life or spirit. In conclusion there's nothing that survives after death. Now, the resurrection makes sense. We need to really die to be resurrected. How can someone be resurrected if a part of him never dies? It's impossible. We have to use logic and also study the Bible with a sincere heart to understand what truly happens after death.

I believe so...with the spirit. As the bible teaches a christian is three parts - spirit, soul and body.
See:
http://www.bible.org/page.php?page_id=911
When the body dies, the spirit and soul (joined to the spirit) continues on. That which is joined to God's life, (our spirits and soul), does not die but continues to live. Without the body our senses continue on..feeling, hearing, seeing, smelling, thinking, as these are aspects of the spirit/soul. The bible talks of getting rid of the earthly tent (our body) (2 Cor 5).. suggesting our spirit/soul continues on. To be "absent from the body" is to be "present with the Lord" (2 Cor. 5:8). Paul as a God -apointed apostle, to whom mysteries were revealed by God , had a greater understanding of what happens after death, as indicated in these passages. Therefore trying to construe a doctine from primarily old testament scriptures that the soul dies with the body until future resurrection (such as 7th day adventists do), is erroneous. There is only death of the body, because real death is also death of the spirit/soul and can only be accomplished by God, not by man (Matt 10:28).
Take angelic or demonic spirits for example, these can still think, see, hear and smell. A lot of amputee victims still retain the feeling of their lost limbs, as though they are still there. This is because only their bodily limb was cut off, but they still have their spirit/soul being.

Yes a soul can live without a body because when you die your soul comes out of your body and waches over others whom you love. The point of being with Christ is to be with the man who created you and you don't need a body when you are with Christ because he knows that you are there and can see you.

If you consider the soul as something metaphysical and not supernatural, it doesn't have a "place" at all, any more than an abstract concept like "beauty" or "iteration" does. That doesn't mean none of those things exist, just that they aren't ghosts in the machine or creme filling in the Oreo.
The powerful idea that having a non-physical "body" would really be a far worse existence than the current mortal one is explored in depth in Philip Pullman's trilogy His Dark Materials (main web site: http://www.randomhouse.com/features/pullman/ ). As for the alternative, some look to Buddhist and other meditative traditions, which seek to liberate human existence from the dreary specifics and unite one and all with Everything and Perfection and so forth. It's not really my cup of tea; Id' rather settle for my imperfect, limited, and sense-filled time with the specific people (and animals) I love.

Think about it, the sun is a more logical God then Jesus.
All the life in the universe stems from suns, suns supply light and heat energy which enabled things to grow.
Now which is more logical A proven scientific FACT or a book thta claims this guy walked on water and raised people from the dead. And if it is true, why has there benn no prophet in the last 1500 years sent from "GOD".
My Point: The Idea of a soul or "life after death" is proposterous

Yes a soul can exist without a body (but a body can not exist without a soul), we will have different kinds of senses because we will have a 'different' (spiritual) body.

Hello Wooden
Yes, we are spirit, when we die we will return to a soul state.
We have guides, who are without a body.
You consider the body to be of importance - spiritually it is just a vessel. Here so that we can learn before returning to spirit. In spirit we have more wisdom & understanding that we can comprehend whilst in body. A body is a burden, a tempory structure.
