Just after Kahne hit the wall, my neighbor hit my cable box (go figure). My girlfriend's favorite driver is Kasey Kahne, and she wants to know what happened to him. Did they ever say what happened to the car? From the angles I saw, it looked like something malfunctioned with the tires.

He just lost it. It did look like something may have malfunctioned, but he said the car was a piece of junk all day, and he finally just lost it.
So much for the lucky black hair thing. :(
...I mean his black hair, by the way. I got a message earlier commenting on how my avatar picture now had black hair. I dyed my hair over a month ago, and never got around to changing my avatar's hair.

After the crash he said in an interview that his car was crap all day. Apparently he had been bouncing off many cars most of the day. The crash that took him out though, he said was his own stupidity. His words not mine. He also said he is glad that 2007 is "over".
He has really had a crappy year. I hope at least he can finish next week's race in the top ten.

He lost control of his car in the corner.After being hit by another car.he has had a bad year. Go Kasey.

got loose inthe corner and managed to make it all the way to the straightaway then fishtailed a little, then hit the wall so hard his whole backend lifted up in the air =(

he was coming out of one of the turns(can't remember which one) but he got loose and tried to correct it and smacked the wall. Basically he just lost it. I felt so bad for him after he hit the wall. he was not happy about it.

No malfunction. In Kahne's interview, he said he had driven like an idiot all day and finally wrecked it.

Yep he admitted he had driven like an Idiot all day in the post Infield Care Center interview. He said he just lost it!!!!--Admirable of him to admit!!!!
