You need to call your doctor right now, when someone is reacting this way on Paxil you need for your doctor to know right away. Paxil continues to build and stay in the system for a few days after you stop, and stopping any drug with out either a replacement drug or the direct order of you doctor can cause physical reactions as well as mental or emotional reactions you don't expect. Most likely the doctor will change your meds, he may want to do blood work to check the level of Paxil in your system before choosing a different medication. I doubt he will hospitalize you, the only reason he might do that is if your system has built up a dangerous level of Paxil, if this is the case he would place you in the regular hospital. It is so rare I can't see any problems for you Good Luck and please call your doctor even if it is Sunday evening.

I'm sure he will just change your meds. Ask him to before you tell him you're suicidal.

He will change your meds. If he thinks you are in immediate danger, he may take further steps to protect you.
