Congratulations!

There is no Church law against getting married on a Sunday.

Many parishes are just too busy on Sundays to be able to fit in a wedding.

But remember, it never hurts to ask.

You may get married, I am not sure, but there is no Nuptual Mass said on Sunday, or many other days for that matter.

yes if you arrange it with the priest and you need to give the priest 3 months notice before the date of the wedding

Yes but it will be difficult because priests do their weekly sermon on Sundays.

Also in Ireland, people usually get married on Fridays.

Yes....there is nothing that forbids it.

Finding a Priest who will do one on a Sunday....now that's another story.
