It was just starting to dry out when I applied the aquafore. Now the whole thing is gooey if I blot it with a papertowel the ink comes off so I dont want to touch it. Should I stand in front of a fan or something to help evaporate the ointment.Where it looks like the ink is blurred will it redeposit itself and stay blurry? I am freaking out i spent 4 hours getting this tat and alot of money. I will call the shop tomorrow(closed on Sun.) but is there anything I should do now to help it. He told me not to let water touch it until all peeling was gone 1-2 weeks. HELP!!!!!!

I did wash it several times the day I got it and one time the next day. The artist told me to do it that way.

Probably not.
It will all flake off through out the next few weeks and you will know by them.Leave it alone for a little while and start using unscented lotion till its healed.
Once its healed,if it is messed up,go back to the original artist and get it touched up.Most places do touch ups for free.

If it is three days old, blot off the excess Aquaphor and leave it alone. Of course you need to wash it which means you get water on it - you just can't soak it.

I generally tell people to listen to their artist BUT you MUST wash that thing. Then put a mild unscented lotion on it like Lubriderm, Curel, whatever.

You can only use Aquaphor if you put a very, very thin film on it.

Did you try to wipe it off???
It might just be all the aquaphore making it appear that way. That stuff is gooey after all!
