I have yet to find the perfect church, each has their faults.
but I don't use that to separate me from them.
after years, I have come to realize, that the holy Spirit can give a different revelation to each of us,
that does not make either of us wrong.
it is what makes up special.
just as we don't treat our children the same.
God treat each of us in our own special way.

I would say that I am in large agreement with the teaching of my pastors. There are some areas where I believe God's word actually says something a little differently than they are bringing forth; but I have never encountered heretical or aberrant teaching from my church's pulpit.
IMHO, all teachers of God's word are falliable men. We take what they teach and weigh it against scripture. We give grace and sit under submission to them where the differences are minor and nonessential. We lovingingly show them from scripture where the differences are important. And we run if the teaching is heretical.

Don't believe that my Church as well as other's should use the same people for the same things and also although there are many women leaders I would like to see more of them used to preach in church. It can be a case of 'the same 'ol,same 'old...!!
I for one have a lot of ambition for what God has shown me and am not the best ' benchwarmer' !!...movement and growth is what it's all about and recognition of each person's gifting within the body of Christ.God Bless you.

Of course, probably more than 1%... see, it's o.k. to question things as long as it does not persuade you to doubt in the basics. Namely, Jesus being your Messiah and being able to keep your love for God and your absolute trust and obedience in Him.
Because... God will always show you more.
Everyone has different capacities and understandings about this and that, but it does not mean any are wrong. It doesn't matter what you are (what religious affiliation) or how right you are (or think you are) concerning theology, what matters is that you love God with all your heart... that you love Him unconditionally as He loves you, and that you are willing to learn from His Holy Spirit. Trusting Him with all your heart just like a little child... when you do, everything you learn from God or from others is so much richer, everything that others think that differs from your thoughts doesnt bother you anymore, (you accept where others are) and everything you don't know doesn't matter (yet).

Yes, because there is no perfect church here on earth and so there will always be at least that 1% no matter where one goes, and there are different systems even with in one type of church.

I certainly don't accept all the doctrines that the Baptists teach. I DO NOT think one alcoholic drink will totter me over into hell, as they seem to espouse.
And the Pentacostal church I go to says you must speak in tongues if you are truly a Christian. Not true at all, in my opinion. Tongues is just one gift of the Holy Spirit, not a proof of faith.

I belong to a Brethren church, and they believe that we cannot host fundraisers(fish fry) in our new church even though we have the room. So, we have to rent a community center that is 10 miles away.Plus, when getting baptised, it is full submersion and not sprinkled.

No, but I do agree with their basic doctrine on the important issues. It is very Biblically sound. The other is open to interpretation....and is unrelated to salvation through Christ.
