I am LDS and I like other Mormons. We are good Christian family centered folk who have strong faith in Christ. Of course there are LDS members who are not so active or who have their quirks, just as there are of every religion, but as a whole I would say I am quite impressed with how LDS members act. Of course I am a bit biased.
I would say one flaw in some areas that are heavily populated with LDS families is that it is really easy to focus so much on those who are LDS that you don't give much notice to those who aren't which leads them to feel excluded. I think this is common anywhere that one common group makes up a vast majority of the population, but it is something I hear repeated about LDS members, and I must admit that I have seen it myself.

I think they're just like the other Xians. Their religion was spawned from another religion and they took the ball and ran with it. Other Xians will label them as a cult to defame the Mormons and separate them from themselves in an attempt to discredit the religion. *sigh* Theism.
Think about it.

As people they are the most wonderful people you can meet. But as following the bible they are completely lost and follow a false doctrine and false teachings. I am so surprised that they have such a big following and cannot understand why they believe lies. They worship a different Jesus that Christians worship and there is so much different that there is no way we can call them Christians but a Cult.

They're sincerely wrong. Watch this short video on their cult for better understanding of them.
