There is no missing link....that has been shown conclusively...
.**It is amazing to me that laymen who push evolution theory so vehemently don't even know what most evolutionary scientists have said about the fossil record....
Even Charles Darwin was honest when he confesses in 'Origin of Species'; " But as by THIS THEORY innumerable transitional forms must have existed, why do we NOT find them embedded in countless numbers in the crust of the earth?" -Charles Darwin
To the above fact, even the most world renown (evolutionary) biologists today agree.....
." New species almost always appear suddenly in the fossil record with NO intermediate links to ancestors in older rocks in the same region. The fossil record with its abrupt transitions OFFERS NO SUPPORT for gradual change". - Stephen J. Gould (Natural History , June, 1977, p.22)
"The extreme rarity (of transitional forms) in the fossil record persists as the 'trade secret' of palentology. The evolutionary tree (diagarms) that adorn our textbooks is.....NOT the evidence of fossils". - Stephen Gould (Natural History, 1977, vol.86, p.13)
"Evolution REQUIRES intermediate forms between species and paleontology DOES NOT provide them" (David Kitts, paleontologist and evolutionist).
According to Scripture NOTHING evolved but everything was created "AFTER ITS KIND"....which is directly consistent with the fossil record.
The thing to remember is that evolution is just a theory, a speculation, an unproven assumption....and NOT supported by the fossil record.
"Have you not read, that He which made them AT THE BEGINNING made them male and female?" - Jesus ...(Matt.19:4)

You obviously have no understanding at all whatsoever what evolution actually is. As humans and apes evolved from a common ancestor, there is no such thing as a missing link. If there was, it would have been the common ancestor itself. The term "missing link" was coined by people would had little understanding of evolution and want only to try to disprove it so they can believe a creation myth invented thousands of years ago.
And if you even pay any attention to modern paleoanthropology, then you would know that bones HAVE been found that show mankind's evolutionary journey. Remains of Homo habilis, Homo erectus, Homo sapiens neanderthalis, and Australopithecus all show the steady path to the modern human. Please research before asking stupid questions.

The missing link is a Religious invention to fight the theory of evolution. Evolution works with slow changes and adaptations. Where's the missing link between a Orca (killer wale) and a dolphin or a house cat and a tiger ?
The same mentalities that believe in the creation are the ones behind the missing link idea.

There already are specimens found that do this! The problem is, every time we find a 'missing link' the creationist will now proclaim there are now twice as many gaps!

The missing link is a red herring. Science only refers to transitional fossils, which are aplenty, including those indicating links between apes and humans.

Sailcat has it right. Since our DNA has been proven to be 98% chimpanzee, there is no need for a missing link. Besides they could be walking around with us now, even going to church.
