God makes no mistakes, but that doesn't mean everything is perfect.
I have definitely thought about it. It was one of the things I thought about every day before I crossed over to the "dark side." I mean, I am a lesbian, as I am sure you know -- so I go through this every day, every time I kiss my girlfriend good night, every time I think, "Wow, she is pretty..."
If God is real, I believe He would be entirely accepting of anyone's flaws. I mean, if you buy into this argument -- He made you. You don't have to believe in Him, but it is always good to think of things in perspective.
I never thought I would be able to believe in God because of who I am, but then I realized it was quite the opposite -- because of who I am and what I have managed to sucker through, I do believe in God.
I can only imagine what you mean by His flaws are the contradictions in the Bible, and perhaps other things. Well -- I am not going to preach to you -- you already know the answers I could provide. The least I can suggest to anyone is not to completely through out the idea of God, just like I would never throw out the idea of a non-existent God. If it is this hard for me, I imagine it would be terribly hard for you, as well. But then again, I do not even know your stance on God, whether you believe He exists and He is flawed, or whether you do not believe He exists at all.
I do have to say one thing from my experiences -- the people who question God the most turn out to be some of the closest people with God I have ever met. Scary idea, huh?

He WILL accept you; ask for forgiveness and mean it. God loves all of His children. God isn't flawed; it's human flaws that make this world so horrible. He gave us free will and some people abused that privilege.

First, God doesn't have any flaws.
Second, he does accept you with all of your flaws! That is the reason why he sent Jesus to die on the cross.
Third, people who swear at you on here are messed up and not real Christians, don't pay them any mind.
Fourth, check out my blog, I write a lot about Christianity. http://www.ericnovak.com
Fifth, Kudos to you for posting this!

I don't know where you heard ''he won't accept me for mine''. I suspect you have been mislead or have perhaps created this idea. It is false. God will accept you, with and despite your flaws.

they are liers and bad ppl. they put up a act just so they can get into heaven. if there was no heaven then they wouldnt serve god. they cant just be nice for the sake of being nice.the only thing that keeps them goin to church is the fear of going to hell not the goodness in them that wants to help everyone.

double standards i guess?
funny thing about the god myth...god was supposed to know all and create all. If that were the case, then that god created all to be exactly what they are and do what they do
that god sure is moody, aint it?

What makes you think God won't accept you with your flaws. "We have all sinned and come short of the glory of God!" God is all about forgiveness!

I am not Christian, at least I don't think so. But the God I've heard of actually WILL accept you as you are. You just have to weed through the chaos in the bible to find it.
