If you have to try and convince yourself you don't like them, then obviously they mean a whole lot to you.. and that won't help it make you get over the person any faster.
You'll know, trust me. You obviously find yourself moving on with life, and living it the way it is, you find yourself not thinking about the person on a daily basis/or at all. I truely believe no one ever "gets over" a relationship, i think we just all learn how to deal with it& we eventually move on but I think theres always a little piece of it left in our hearts.
You'll find yourself happier.
You just gotta let time do the work...

You will always now. Your inner self will tell you. My advice is to find other ways to occupy your time and be determine not to focus on him. Trying to convince yourself only tend to help keep him in your mind. When thoughts of him enter, immediately switch to thoughts of something that has made you feel good or something that is funny. Before you know it he will be a part of your past.

time heels all wounds but it doesn't erase them. try & get out with friends & interact with other people. i got out of a relationship that was over 5 yrs recently & after a few months i tried to force myself to meet new guys. one night i met this guy & we hung out majority of the night- talked, laughed, held hands. it felt good. though when he went in for a kiss, i found myself pulling myself away from him. i knew at that moment i wasn't ready. that was nearly a year ago. right now, i've kissed a few boys though some are interested in more- i find myself telling them that i'm not quite ready for a relationship yet. i figure that when the right boy comes along- things will change. just take it one day at a time right now.
live your life... don't live the "we" life.

Sometimes you never get over someone.
You just have to pick yourself up and move on.

Obviously, you're not over them. When you start thinking about other people or other things, you will be over them.
