She looks at you like her mama. The "kneading" action is what a kitten does to stimulate the mother cat's mild glands to secrete milk. The kissing is just her way of saying she loves you. She sounds like a very affectionate kitty. If you don't want to be kissed directly on the mouth, offer her your ear.

Cats "knead" their mother's tummies to express the milk from the nipples, and so it is an action that means contentment and fulfillment. And when she kneads on you, she is telling you that you are the apex of all good things, you are right up there with mom. And to a cat, there is no one like mom. And when she then bumps your mouth or your face, she is telling you that everything good comes from you.
It is just the highest expression of affection that she has. She is telling you that you are IT, you are wonderful; she adores you; there is nothing more wonderful than you; you are as good as mom.
Why do you need help? Just rub your head along her head, and let her know you accept the compliment, and that you love her back. There's no downside to it.
Lucky you! You are loved unconditionally and you will be for the next 15 to 20 years. Enjoy it.

Yes it's true, kneading is a reflex from when cats were kittens and had to "push out" the milk from mommy cat. The instinct to do it is there whether they really experienced it as kittens or not. Just let your cat knead and be affectionate towards you! When I had my first cat I discovered that they weren't really "cold" and "indifferent" as so many people say---cats communicate in so many ways, it's just a matter of you giving them attention and researching a bit. Your cat has a sweet temperament so you'll definitely enjoy many years together!
p.s. I have 4 cats and one of them likes to fetch crisp, crumpled paper, and another loves chasing after ping pong balls!

Your kitty really loves you, almost to the point of over-attachment. Was this one taken from its mother at an early age? If so, this would account for this behavior. Sorry honey, but YOU are "Mom" to your kitty. And, although I find that when my cat does the kneading thing on me, it's very relaxing. But--the kissing on the mouth should stop. Just raise your head a little and offer her your chin instead. This is total attachment at its finest! Enjoy!

Your cat just loves you. Aside from it being common affection, it is also marking you as 'it's territory'. The kneading thing will not stop, it's how they get comfy and content. It's a good sign that your cat is comfortable enough to do that around you and lick you as well. At bedtime, my cat sits on my chest for about 10 minutes and makes me pet him, and when he gets extremely happy he will lick my nose a few times, no biggie.

Everyone's said it already, but I'm gonna say it too: Your kitty LOVES you! A lot!
Be glad. Some kitties just don't dispense that kind of love and affection. If you've got yourself a cat that loves you that much, enjoy it. Believe me, I know it can be annoying when sometimes when your cat needs to be on your lap (or homework or newspaper) all the time, but it's all love. As I write this, I've got Jezebel, my three year old gray tabby curled up with me. There's nothing quite like the unconditional love of a cat. I always say "Jezebel is my favorite animal, and I'm her favorite person," cuz it's just the truth.

Hugs and kisses O=Hug X=Kiss If you look at each letter like it was representing two people from a bird's eye view, the "O" represents the arms of those persons hugging each other while the "X" is evocative of two people kissing each other
