do you believe in the saying guys don't make passes at girls in glasses?

I just got contacts and i don't know if it is worth it they hurt like heck! I am wondering if people think that it is true that guys don't like girls in glasses

Girl, boys are shallow if they don't "make passes at girls in glasses." And those are the type of boys you want to avoid. I wear glasses myself, although they don't show in my avatar, nice square frames that are long enough to cover my eyes with the color of gun metal. It really matches my jewelry as well. I love to wear silver :).

Anyway, back on point, I don't believe in that saying. I have been approached by many boys while I had my glasses on and when they aren't on boys wonder where they are because they like them so much. I think I look better with glasses. It also really does depend on the hairstyle. I won't ever switch to contacts, they are too much of a hassle to keep up with, no matter what anyone says. I would rather slip on my glasses in two, no one second than to spend five extra unneccessary minutes in the bathroom touching my eye.

Just for argument sake...lets say that is so. Any and every guy that thinks in such a shallow way, believe me, is not worth having. If not the glasses, they will always find something(your weight, hair, clothes or any number of things) to be critical of.
My advice is to look at yourself through YOUR eyes (and you don't need either glasses or contacts for that(smile))instead of the eyes of others. Get to know yourself before you worry about what boys think or want. Bone up on your smarts, strengths and awareness of your weaker points. Carry yourself with dignity and class. When you arm yourself with a confident you, it will be you who will make the decisions...not them.

i used to think the same thing, so i got contacts like three months a go and its so annoying to put them in and have to make sure their clean and stuff, so i went back to glasses and i actually think that i am more confident in them. But to your question, no i dont believe in the saying, guys liked me just the same with or without, i even asked them a bout it and they were like, i dont care it doesnt really matter. so yeah, if contacts bother you then wear glasses, it really makes no difference to guys, they should like you for ur personality anyway.

Glasses absolutely Make you look Smarter ( i imagine ) & Lotts has glassses, you should purchase diffrent kinds to, If he likes you hon, Hell like quite a few of you, Glasses are In now, sunlight glasses to. you could continuously purchase a Diffrent form later & both one among you flow out & see what form you both agree on, only a education down the line, Dont hassle, be at liberty.

not true. as long as your glasses are somewhat stylish. i wear glasses myself, and guys still like me. contacts are too much of a hassle for everyday.. but when i go to formal occasions and stuff, i put my contacts on.

Just clean your contacts! They shouldn't hurt you at ALL. They probably sting because you don't clean them properly.
I think that overall, guys like no glasses better, but that doesn't mean that someone won't like you.
