Does it really matter if you believe the world came from nothing caused by nothing or God caused it.
Does it matter if you do chants, spells, rituals and all these meditations and all these horoscopes.
Does it matter what denomination you call yourself or what classes in theology or science you took.

Or does it matter what you do in life?
Do you help the needy?
The poor?
The sick?
The disabled?

Do you help africans?
Do you help those people who can't even grow their food anymore?
Do you help those people who are homeless?
Do you help those people who are suffering?

I MEAN COME ON! Can't you stop wasting your time with these piece of crap arguements about who is right and who is wrong? Can't you stop wasting Good money on these piece of crap rituals and chanting and materials needed?
And can you stop wasting money on building bigger "church" buildings.
Can you stop arguing with people who believe in something just because you feel guilty about not helping anyone but yourself??

I'm flattered that you singled out my religion, as if someone would say "hmmm I don't know if Wicca counts as a belief system".

[/sarcasm]

I don't feel that it's helpful to argue about who's right, because truth in in the eyes of the beholder. Many of my religious practices (spells, meditation, astrological charts) I use to develop my own skills and spirituality, which IS important to me.

And I do try my best to help the needy, the poor, the sick, the disabled, the starving, the war-torn people, the homeless... you get the point.

My major charities: Operation Smile, Invisible Children, the Nature Conservancy, Heifer International, Operation Christmas Child... etc

You do raise some good points. I think it would be far more useful for people to get on with the work and argue less about belief. St. Francis of Assisi once said "Go preach the Gospel, use words if necessary." His point was that doing good works was spreading the Gospel. You can have all the belief in the world but if you do not act on it, it is useless. The Dalai Lama said "it is not enough to have compassion, you must ACT."

Imagine a world where everyone for one day thought not of themselves but for others. Imagine what would be accomplished.

The principle purpose of all religion is to help people do good. It's too bad that many people seem to have missed that point.

I offer both rituals in honor of my Gods AS WELL as service to my fellow humans as philoxenia (love of the stranger aka charity) is DEMANDED in my religious beliefs.

I help the homeless, and have taken them under my roof at times. I feed the hungry when I have the opportunity. During and immediately after Hurricane Katrina, I helped elderly and disabled people survive. Immediately before and after that self-same storm, I was sheltering a pregnant woman WHO I DID NOT LIKE because I would not let her BECOME homeless.

I usually do not advertise these things, but if having the buildings helps people come together to help, then LET THEM....

I don't think people argrue over beliefs because they are feeling guilty. People have debates over beliefs because that is what people do debate and i don't think hat is a problem.

Live simply so others may simply live. The only person who should have any interest in your belief system is you.....and, no, I don't want to know about your belief system - I've got my own.

I manage human beings and the strikes of people. i do no longer care approximately their faith. I rather have an extremely good chum who's a conservative Christian. We disagree on many things. We additionally comprehend no longer something effective will come of bringing those issues up, so we don't. He has never as quickly as lectured me and witnessed to me or instructed me i became going to hell. i do no longer care what he believes as long as he behaves like a chum to me, which he does. 3 issues i admire: the authentic-international, user-friendly experience grounding of Satanism. The messages of charity and non-judgment of Christianity. The experience of international forces being of order or chaos, extremely than good or evil, in Zoroastrianism. good and evil are alternatives, no longer forces. (in case you merely needed us to charm to on the examples you gave, i will no longer be able to do it. "Atheism" and "agnosticism" are no longer perception structures. they seem to be a loss of perception structures. I admire their existence, yet there is not any longer something interior them to in specific like or dislike. they simply are.) issues I rather have themes with in my own faith: Reincarnation. I have no reason to have self assurance that *something* comes after loss of existence. If there is a few thing, nicely, bonus. yet i'm no longer looking forward to it. because of the fact we have no holy textual content textile or prophets, there is not any longer of issues previous center ideals that all of us agree on, so the final i will critique are various conventional evaluations: we are meant to "harm none." no longer something everywhere says that approximately us. its a lazy examining of the Rede, and it is fully illogical. The "Threefold regulation". The universe supplies reaction for each action. It does not multiply. "All gods are one god and all goddesses one goddess." i'm a demanding polytheist. they can not all be smashed jointly. One might desire to be initiated to be Wiccan. it rather is in fact a controversy of notice definition. I actual have self assurance i will no longer be able to affix an initiatory custom without initiation. i will no longer be able to call myself a Gardnerian merely because of the fact i want to. yet i do no longer see those traditions as having any form of unique declare on the notice "Wicca," a notice that Gardner does not look to have ever used. Wicca is various of ideals. "Gardnerian" is club interior a different community.

An ancient man named Joshua had a word for you. Choose you this day, Israel (bagsy) who you will serve - God or man.

Yes it matters who you serve. God is not tolerant. God is absolute, sovereign and unchanging.
