Me and my bf are on a break atm but how can i show him that i respect him, i been following what he wants, been giving him time and space but i want other sweet or lil things to eithe rhint or show him i respect him. Because i want to try and work this out with him and i want to do the best i can to show him :)

love and relationship is two ways and not all for you to show dont loose your own self in him being respectful is listening to what he has to say and if it is good for you both then work on it.if he requires space check why and if its you causing the want in himto need space then give him some breathing room to sort his mind and heart but be also careful of alterier motive on his part might be someone he is interested in .the age old saying is be a friend before a lover is true to heart and lets someone know that you was friends first and the gifts you give give in moderation to him and dont flood him with them and hugs here and there is the sweetest thought to give shows you care good luck in your endeveres.

Theres a book you might want to look into if youre serious about that - Its called Love and Respect. It was written for married couples, but its awesome to read regardless, espically if you want your relationship to last! :) The author also has a website its www.loveandrespect.com
I just wanted to add, to the people who are saying give him head or stupid stuff, disregard them - they arent worth wasting time on. And the people who say you need to get respect from him first - while I agree that you need to make sure your not in an unhealthy situation - respect is not something that should be looked at that way. Respect is just like love, and can you imagine if your bf/fiance thought "She needs to earn my love before I'll love her" after youve already been together? Men need respect... trust me, read the book!

Oh baby girl you don't have to respect him you have to respect yourself! Do what he wants? Please babe you're not a dog and I couldn't imagine what kind of things you do to him to make him feel that you are disrespectful.If I were you I would give him all the space he needs! and if he hooks up with another chick let it go b/c if that's what he wants then why waste ur love and time? I am sure you are a beautiful girl and deserve the best so take some time for yourself as well.

leave him he wants a break thats not right if he really liked you he wouldnt want a break, hes probably out with other girls move on honey its over im sorry to say but i been through this before and the only thing that comes out a break is a new gf, so forget him move on and have fun there will always be others.

U cant really just show someone respect. If he doesnt know u respect theres something wrong with him. In my opinion I feel u really need to talk to him. Sort out your issues together. Find out what he wants. Jus talk to him and find out if u can save ur relationship. Goodluck!

My darling, you should be respecting yourself first, and foremost!
Then comes respect from him! Does he give you respect?
Sounds to me as if this lad has got you twisted round his little finger and he is lucky im not around to give him a few words in his ear!
Love yourself my darling, if this lad is not willing to give you the little things that you want, move on and find a better lad that will do these things for you.

No critical comments
No fighting or arguing
No contradicting in front of others
Dress up when he's coming over
Apologize when necessary
Don't talk behind his back
Always talk him up to others Do you know what he did for me?
Honor his decisions--if he needs to stay home tonight, ok.
Trade off dates--one night we'll do what you want and the other night I'll go with you to your fun place.
Thank him, after the date, for doing positive things, for cooking dinner for you.
Notice the little things he's done and comment on them.
Never call names.
Never get ugly.

sincerity is the best way to show him but give him the space he is asking for. If you give him his space you are letting him know you care about his feelings. Just call him up casually every other day just to let him know you are thinking about him. This way you aren't invading his personal space but he knows that you still care!

to be honest i dont know a guy to ever want to take a break from his girlfriend if he really wants to be with her. he is probably gonna break up for good if u continue to try to hard. honestly, i would ignore him and do your own thing, he will relize what he has lost if he wants to be with you, and he will come crawling back. trust me, i'm a guy, if he's taking a break and he wants time away from you. give him a bunch of time, ungraveful guys out there i tell you. i'm single and i'd love to have a girl that felt that way about me. take care and good luck with it!!!! bye now!

If you're on a break cos he wants it then best thing is to show him how easy you can live without him and get on with other things that don't involve him. Don't be needy and chase around after him, if he loves you he'll come chasing after you if you're going in another direction!
