Well...it's a long story. Let's just say I had a lot of questions that no one could answer, which led me to become a skeptic, then an atheist.
My becoming a Christian was something that was twenty-five years in the making. It took a long time (twelve years from the time I became an atheist) for most of my objections to be answered. Notice I said MOST. I still have objections. I'm a skeptic by nature.
But once most of my objections were answered, I felt I had no choice. I realized that if Christianity was the truth, there were answers out there. Sooo...that's it. Long story short.

I should hope not, that goes against everything good, right and just with this world. I am one of your opposites. I was a hard core Christian who walked away from it all.

Once you taste the sweetness of truth, there is no going back to the servitude of a metaphysical entity.
Sweet freedom, it is worth living for.
