Ask her, if she admit, suggest her to get help. Is she eating or not? If so, get help by school counselor, or parents. My friend got help for bulimia and she recovered. Your friend might get angry at you for telling but she will soon realize that you care about her and saved her life and forgive you. Good luck :-)

You don't say how old you and your friend are, but it might not be an eating disorder. It could also be juvenile diabetes, a parasitic infestation, or something else entirely.
What to do. I would tell your friend that you are very concerned for her and her health, and if you can, get her to go to the doctors. If she can't (too young) or won't, talk to her parents about your concerns. You may loose her friendship, but you may save her life. I know what choice I'd make.
You could try getting her to go to the School Counselor if there is one.
Above all be there for your friend, but do not try to cope with this on your own. Whatever the problem is, she might well need more help than you alone can give. Thank you for being a good friend.

you want to watch her more closely for a time. see if she's going frequently to the bathroom. Watch what or how much she eats if you are with her. If she just has water its probably a bad sign. You have good idea of the signs. Paleness, losing weight rapidly, and a lowered immune system are all factors you have to look for. Ask her about her diet. What is she eating at home? How often does she eat? Don"t do anything drastic until you consult with her once or twice.

Asking her may put her onm the defensive and make her fight with you. Read up on eating disorders and casually bring up what you learned from reading. Good luck!

How do you go about what???? If she has an eating disorder she most likely won't tell you because she would have told you if she was going to. You can ask if she is ok and if there is anything you can do for her but other than that there is not much you can do.
