Hi, i have a Canon PowerShot A540 i accidentally dropped it. Now when i try to turn it on, the screen says that there is a lens error and to restart the camera. I've restarted it but the lens seems to be jammed. Does anyone know how to fix it!?

R.I.P. Canon PowerShot A540. You now have a really cool paperweight.

Repairs - at your expense - will likely cost more than a new camera. You may now begin shopping for your new one.

if your camera is less than 1 yr old it should be wty call cannon for the nearst repair shop you ll need your bill of sale but if its off wty there are lots of repair sites available that show step by step how to take it apart you may also try to tap the lens as it powers up and tries to extend the lens it may pop back into place try lookin up online how to repair then go from there dont throw it away right away if its already broke you wont break itanymore than it already is if its junk might as well try to fix it what are you out?

Send it to a Canon authorized repair center, and hope it's not too expensive. If it is, then it's time to replace it and use the strap next time.
