my favorite martial art is taekwondo. the only problem with it is that there are many mcdojos because of the marketing tactics used when it first started being introduced to america. however it seems that now that number is starting to go down because people are starting to realize their mistakes, and the WTF has more standards now. anyway I'm almost a black belt (testing next month!! yay!!!) and I love it. i was lucky enough to find a legitimate school, although it isn't that hard, there are at least as many legit schools as mcdojos now. It works well and the traditional version is very effective the sport side not so much but it is still has uber awesomeresterness. so yeah. by the way you spelled martial arts wrong you switched the i and the R, so it now means MARITAL arts, which is marriage arts.

I've studied the Kama Sutra in college, I'd suppose that would count as a Marital art right? : P Just don't ask me how many notches I have on my belt, I've been told a real gentleman doesn't kiss and tell : D

Dog Luver was trying to bring to your attention that you misspelled Martial as Marital, as in marriage, in your question.

My favorite MA is Isshin-Ryu Karate.

My favourite MARTIAL ART is iaido, although I also enjoy my karate classes as well.
P.S. I'm NOT into 'marital arts'.

Something that flows. I personally think karate is too sort of set...if you get my drift....even though I went to a karate dojo for about 5 yrs.
