You may find this stupid question but I would like to get all the reasons on one page. You can say whatever you want.
While you are answering this question, please think of how many of you support Ariel Sharon. For all arabs and muslims and many others, Sharon is a murderer and if you want to consider me unpeaceful for just defending Hizbollah, for me I have all the right to say that you are unpeaceful because you like Sharon.
....I know your first claim would be that Hizbollah kills innocent Israelis but I have never seen them killing innocents. All what I saw is their fighting with the Israeli soldiers. As for last year's war. Beside the innocent Israelis who died, 1000 innocent lebanese died. So this can't be the top reason.
Teach me what you know. Thanks
Peace
Also If you want to call me unpeaceful now, for defending Hizbollah, you may want to recheck the meaning of peaceful and recheck my posts to see that I am totally against terror.

diana saying they are terrorists without providing any support, doesn't give an answer to my question.
Why do you consider them terrorists?
This is my question.

I MAY CHANGE MY OPINION ABOUT HIZBOLLAH IF YOU GIVE ME CONVINCING SOURCES THAT THEY ARE TERRORISTS.
I don't actually know a lot about their activities toward the Israelis but I know they are afraid for the future of their country.

Gamla Joe,
I don't know how Hizbollah think but you know that the Israelis have so many people in their prisons.
Hizbollah want to free their prisoners
Hizbollah want to do what the other Arabs didn't do which is support the Palestinians
Hizbollah want to protect the south of lebanon. If they throw their weapons, the Israelis may find any justification to occupy south lebanon.
I am not sure if these are the main reasons Hizbollah insists on destroying the Israelis but I think they are good reasons for them. I am not a politician.

that Rabbi made me laugh, so the Israelis are afraid to kill civilians! what about the 1000 innocents who died, are they not civilians?
and he is also trying to justify the presence of USA in Iraq, why did they invade Iraq from the begining?
Yes I disagree with you and I know you won't cut my head off. Nobody cuts other people's off for not disagreeing with them.

So what do you want the Jews to do for Hezbollah? Give them a big hug and kiss? LOL.
Mimi, a hero or a villain is like two sides of a coin. Which side you see depends on your angle. Until you change your angle, you will never understand why the other person insists that he/she sees a different side. Please imagine that IF you were on Redisca's shoes, for example, what would you feel?
If you think Hezbollah only defended its country in the 2006 Lebanon War, then so did Ariel Sharon. Do you think all Lebanese people praised Hezbollah during and after the war? I don't think so. Let's imagine that you were a Lebanese civilian whose house is destroyed by an Israeli bomb. The first thing you do might be cursing Israel for crushing your house. But, what's next? Would you still praise Hezbollah? I doubt it. It was Hezbollah, who abducted 2 IDF soldiers for prisoner exchange purpose, yet the civilians were the ones who paid the price much heavier than Hezbollah did.
I'll share with you the fact of Hasan Nasrallah, the current Secretary General of Hezbollah. Following the cease-fire, which Nasrallah and Hezbollah declared a great victory, came what is known as the "Green Flood", according to Iranian-born journalist Amir Taheri. "This refers to the massive amounts of U.S. dollar notes that Hezbollah is distributing among Shiites in Beirut and the south. The dollars from Iran are ferried to Beirut via Syria and distributed through networks of militants. Anyone who can prove that his home was damaged in the war receives $12,000, a tidy sum in war torn Lebanon."
In a TV interview aired on Lebanon's New TV station, Sunday, 27 August 2006, Nasrallah said that he would not have ordered the capture of two Israeli soldiers if he had known it would lead to such a war: "We do not think, even 1 percent that the capture led to a war at this time and of this magnitude. I'm convinced and sure that this war was planed and that the capture of these hostages was just their excuse to start this war, but if I had known on July 11 ... that the operation would lead to such a war, would I do it? I say no, absolutely not. But the war didn't start because of the operation anyway, it's a written war, they would've chosen any excuse to start it anyway"
Nasrallah also came under intense criticism from some in Lebanon. Walid Jumblatt, leader of the Progressive Socialist Party of Lebanon and the most prominent leader of the Druze community, spoke out quite forcefully: "Great, so he's a hero. But I'd like to challenge this heroism of his. I have the right to challenge it, because my country is in flames. Besides, we did not agree..."Jumblatt is also quoted as saying: "He is willing to let the Lebanese capital burn while he haggles over terms of surrender."
Can you imagine, someone who hadn't had even a scratch from the war declared "a great victory"? Which part is "great"? Himself? How about those civilians I mentioned before?
Mimi, it's all your right to defend Hezbollah. But know this, Hezbollah has no love for your people, the Palestinians. They support Hamas ONLY because both parties share a common goal; namely, the destruction of the State of Israel, nothing else.
Here is Nasrallah's quote upon the Palestinian refugees in Lebanon:
"The Lebanese refuse to give the Palestinians residing in Lebanon Lebanese citizenship, and we refuse their resettlement in Lebanon. There is Lebanese consensus on this...we thank God that we all agree on one clear and definite result; namely, that we reject the resettlement of the Palestinians in Lebanon."
It's sad to hear an Arab leader like Nasrallah ever spoke those words upon his fellow Arabs in distress. Heaven helps us.

I guess that many people in your country also dislike Hezbollah... right? I mean, Hezbollah is a radical Islamic organization, isn’t it? And many people do not agree either with their methods, or with their ideas about life. Hezbollah is a terror organization and not only attacks against Israel, but also in your own country and has attacked in countries like Jordan, Egypt, etc. Honestly, why do you think Jewish people hate Muslims? I do not hate anybody. Why should I? I mean, these people who hate others just because of a different religion or nationality are mentally very poor persons. There are too many crazy politicians around who like to make people hate each other, because that way they guarantee their political power and justify to spend lots of money into what? Really we will never know, that say that they spend the money in military proposals and buying high technology arms and so on, but I think, that all of them have a Swiss bank account and get richer and richer meanwhile poor people waste their time to propane hate against each other. I have too many fiends who are Muslims to waste my time in generate hate against a different religion. This is for ignorant people. Jewish people who hate Muslims, just because they are Muslims are stupid people and Muslims who hate Jewish people just for being Jewish are stupid as well. It’s like centuries ago in the middle age when people where murdered just because of belonging to another religion... Hopefully people will get rid of these corrupt and brain washing governments and terror organizations and start to think by themselves.

Why do the Israeli leaders hate Hezbollah? Because they are good fighters and they can bring Israeli government down at the time of their choosing. They call the shots most of the time.

Hezbollah is a terrorist organization headed by a terrorist whose main agenda is wiping out Israel
As for Jews hating, it's Israelis that are fighting the wars some are Jews some are not, Israelis hate no one, most of them consider themselves Israelis first then Jews.
Ariel Sharon was a leader of a democratic country chosen by the people, when attacked fought back.
As for the 1000 innocent, in war innocent people die, it helps if fighting is done from a non populated area, Hezbollah's fought in and from Lebanese citys.
As for the outcome of this war both sides dug graves the winning side is the one digging less - figure this one out

They are terrorists, they kill innocent people.......sure Israelis kill more but that's only b/c when there is for example, a missle coming, the israelis have bomb shelters and they know the percautions to take, I think the palestinians/arabs don't know what to do and don't have very safe bomb shelters and so they get hurt and die more often........also Hezbollah is for Arabs only, they don't really care about anyone else, and I think everyone knows that........ex. during the "war" last summer in Lebanon, do you know why the rest of the world only evacuated people in Lebanon and not Israel??? B/c they knew that Hezbollah would have had no problem with taking those innocent people as hostages and use them against everybody, while Israel wouldn't touch them.....I hope that answers your questions

Because the leader of Hizbollah said the following about Jews:
"If they (Jews) all gather in Israel, it will save us the trouble of going after them worldwide." (The Daily Star quoting Nasrallah, October 2002)
"If we searched the entire world for a person more cowardly, despicable, weak and feeble in psyche, mind, ideology and religion, we would not find anyone like the Jew. Notice, I do not say the Israeli." (The New Yorker quoting Nasrallah, October 2002)
Additionally, in his speeches, Nasrallah has referred to Jews -- not Israelis, not "Zionists", but JEWS -- as "grandsons of apes and pigs" and "Allah's most cowardly and greedy creatures".
Now, let's see. Hizbollah's "peaceful" stance towards Jews is that (1) Jews are apes, pigs, cowardly and greedy; and (2) Hizbollah's expressed intention is to exterminate Jews worldwide. How in the name of G-d is that defensible?
Yes, I hate Hizbollah because they want to kill me, my husband, my parents and my 15-month-old son -- regardless of where we live, what our citizenship is, or what our stance is in the Middle East conflict. In fact, Hizbollah want to kill my toddler even though it's a safe bet he doesn't have an opinion on the Middle East conflict one way or the other. For that, I hate them. How intolerant of me.

Well for one they support and want to release individuals such as this.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samir_Kuntar
In addition what reason dose Hezbollah have for wanting to fight Israel?
Unlike the Palestinians Israel is not occupying or controlling Lebanese territory. Yet they are unwilling to have any peaceful relations with Israel.
If you can give me a rational answer why they want to instigagte a conflict with Israel I will listen.

I think the real reason goes back several thousand years; to the story of Isaac & Ishmael. Then you also have Jacob & Esau.
This is where it all started. I basically refer to it as sibling rivalry, as we share Father Abraham.
We got the brains, while you got the looks.
