Actually, strange as it may sound, you're not eating enough to lose weight. You need to eat - at the VERY least - 1200-1500 calories a day, especially at the rate you're exercising. Consuming less than 1200 cals a day (plus burning many of them off through exercise) puts your body in starvation mode - your body is dramatically slowing the rate at which it burns fat in an attempt to conserve energy.
To lose weight properly and safely, you only need to cut 500 calories a day. Cutting or burning off any more than that will cause your body to work against you.
Also, keep in mind that your body burns a good number of calories a day simply doing everyday things - breathing, walking across a room, etc. How many calories you burn a day depends on your age, weight, and other factors (there are a few websites out there that can give you an estimate of how many cals your body burns by itself).
Also, keep in mind that the calories you do eat in a day should be from healthy foods - fresh fruit & veggies, grains, etc. Drink water and milk, as well as juice or tea every now and again. Try to keep non-naturally occurring sugars out of your diet, also.
=)

You aren't eating ENOUGH to lose weight as quickly as you'd like, and I'm betting that you aren't getting enough exercise, too. You need to eat AT LEAST 1500 calories a day, and BURN 2000 calories a day to lose weight at the rate of 2 pounds per week. That is the BEST way to lose weight and get thinner ... your skin has time to 'shrink' with the fat burnoff, and your muscles will get stronger ... if you do more 'stretching' exercise, your muscles will be 'long and lean' and if you do more 'bulking' exercise your muscles will get 'rounded' and be more defined.

Try doing some gym work too as that will tone you. I was a size 22 and got down to a size 8 in six months. The way I did it is bad for you, it's just that I had gallstones and couldn't eat any fat. To tell you the truth I was so scared to eat fat as I was in pain everytime I had, so I never ate no fat whatsoever. And now 6 years later still size 8-10. By doing what I did, I realize all the fat that is in food.

Because you're not eating enough! When you don't take in enough calories, your body goes into starvation mode and actually stores fat. Under 1000 calories a day is not healthy. Add more calories, maybe up to 1400 or so, in good food--whole grains, fruits and veggies, lean protein. Keep exercising, and stay hydrated, and you'll see the pounds start to go. Good luck!

Are these >1000 calories a day diet, good, nutritious foods? You have to eat basically what's on the food pyramid, because if not, you ruin your matabolizim and anything you eat takes longer to break down, and therefore... you don't lose weight.
I say eat HEALTHIER, not less.

I don't know how long you have been doing this, but perhaps you are gaining muscle right now (which weighs more than fat) you are definately becoming more fit.....in the beginning of any good diet and exercise plan you should go more by measurements and how your clothes are fitting than by what the scale says...be patient and stick with it!
Good Luck.

There is NO way you cannot lose weight on a 1000 calorie diet...it work for the concentration camp victims...not a single one of them held onto their previous weight.
