my ex and i broke up last month thru text messages..he lives in a neighboring town about an hour from here. well last night, my roommate and my friend and i went to that town to do some partying b/c the college team had won...at the very last bar we went to, who else is there but my ex!! i bought him a drink and we talked a lil bit but not much b/c my roommate was trying to find my friend and dragging me along. i invited him to an afterhours party we were gonna go to but he said nah. then kinda walked off. my roommie was like "man he's rude". i shrugged, didn't care. well i ran into him again b4 leavin and gave him a hug bye. then when we were driving home, noticed a missed call from him. i texted him "yes?" and he said he was gonna come to the party but he was already home. told him we decided to skip the afterhours and go home. about an hour later, he texts "i wish you would've stayed in town 2nite...b/c i dont like sleeping alone". do you think he misses me, or..

i mean its natural for people to kind of want eachother after you break up and he was probably looking for some action from this girl he's already probably kinda comfortable with, i think its a mixture between sorta wanting you back and wanting to have sex with you

You did the right thing. He has no intentions of getting back w/you, & if you hadn't seen him, you wouldn't even have heard from him again. Of course seeing you again just brought back some memories, but that's all they were. And, he sure didn't even show he was that interested to begin with. What did he have to loose in a just "one more time"...nothing! Be glad you didn't go & get all confused into thinking he really did care again, because he just made it seem like an "after thought". Just stay away from him & leave well enuf alone. Things were going fine w/o him, they'll continue to do so. There w/be someone who w/come into your life who deserves you & someone you'll be happy with. Be glad you made the rite move in this case, & just keep moving forward.

If you read your own question you would see the answer there. He didn't say he wished you had stayed so you two could talk things over, go get something to eat......he was just being horny! Move on ... better things are in store for you than a lame text message. Trust me on this one.
