It is Humanae Vitae.

It was an encyclical "written" by Pope Paul VI that reaffirms the Catholic Church's views on birth control and abortion. Specifically, it says that abortion is a sin and using any kind of artificial birth control (condoms, the pill, IUDs, etc) is also prohibited. It also prohibits surgical remedies to prevent birth (tubaligation, vasectomy).

It does allow natural methods of birth control (the rhythm method) and allows for sterilization that results from an operation like a hysterectomy that is performed for therapeutic reasons.

Humanae Vitae says that human life begins at conception, and that mechanical means of birth control are wrong. It is a Catholic statement, not binding on the rest of Christianity, although more and more people are coming around to the first part of it. I don't know the Muslim view on abortion, but I doubt anyone THAT religious would be for the killing of babies.
