My family thinks that I stole money from them. So here is what happened.

My dad wasn't feeling well and went to sleep. I went into his room about an hour before I left to hang out with some friends to be sure he was alright. Before I left the room, I took a box out that my mom asked me to move. A couple of minutes before I left I checked on him one more time. I just wanted to be sure. He then call\s me about an hour after I leave and says to come back with what I took. He thinks I took money from a drawer of his. He said he wasn't asleep and was listening to everything I was doing. I swear I didn't, but no one believes me. How do I make everyone believe me that I really didn't do it?

I cant believe all your family are so quick to accuse!!! Have you said that your mom asked you to move the box?

I wouldnt bother trying to make them believe you, they have obviously already made up their minds.

All you can say is 'I didnt take the money I promise to all of you. I am sorry that you dont believe me, but that is the truth'.
I would leave it at that, but make sure you dont get left on your own in a situation that could leave you open for accusations again. Its sad that you should have to do this with your family, but if thats the way its got to be for a while them so be it.

I hope it works out for you.

The only reason I can see that they think you did this is you have done it before. I find it hard to believe you went to check on your dad twice, and took a box out of the room(why then) and didn't wake him.

Either you didn't take it and your dad was dreaming, or you did. I think if you did, you need to be a man and return what you took. If you didn't, then you have nothing to worry about. The truth always comes through.

How sad. I believe you. But I got an idea, tell your parents to talk your friends you were with, they should now how much money you would have had to spend while you were there with them. Believe me, I'll do that.

Good luck.
