Past few days ive been having migrains and soar throat. My fever was at 102.2 yesterday, but its gone down to 99.9 today. My throat still hurts like a *****, and every now and then I get some bad headaches.

Im so hungry and sick of iced sherbert, tea, water, gatorade, and **** like that. I want something real.

I ate some honey glazed chicken today and it was fine going down.

Would I be able to eat (or is it not a good idea):
1)Pink Lemonade (drink)
2) Grape Juice (drink)
3) Lunchable (Pizza lunchable with soft crust, fake sause, and shredded cheese)

If not any of those, can you guys list some things that I can still eat, that are snacky like, but taste good as hell

You can eat almost everything, as long as you can handle swallowing it. The only thing you need to avoid is dairy (like sherbert, or the cheese in your lunchable) because if it is a bacterial infection, the lactose feeds the bacteria in your throat.

(This isn't what you are asking, but a sore throat with fever is a sign of strep throat. If you go to the doctor, they will see if you really do have it, and if you do they will prescribe antibiotics).

I can relate, just getting over swollen glands myself.I agree with the previous answers, stay away from lemonade, and eating chicken soup, and gargling with warm water and salt will help you heal.
But for what you can eat,I found rice with different sauces on it went down OK with a swollen throat.Make some rice and put some of the sauce from your honey glazed chicken on it. I had Beef Macadamia from a Thai restaurant, but just ate the rice with sauce, that type of thing.I know what you mean about wanting something with flavor! You can only eat so much soup and cream of wheat! Your appetite coming back is a good sign of recovering!Hope you feel better!

Your sore throat will not heal as fast as U would like after U have had that sort of choice of food,,,,,ice & all icy stuff.

The fact U had a bad throat & fever is because ur body temperature rose due to "heatyness in ur system" as the asians call this. This is where the YIN & YANG comes in to effect. There is a famous saying,,,U starve a fever & U feed a cold.

You now have to get rid of the body heat so U need to drink lots of barley water, have meals that is porridge only & U can accompany this with omlette, pickled lettuce stumps (in cans or botttle U can buy in any asian section of canned foods.) Then U need to eat fresh vegetables U can scald in hot water be it the brocolli cut in bits size chunks, & U can fry some chopped up garlic bits in oil & then after U have drained the brocolli U add the garlic & oil & some soya sauce onto veggie & u can have the porridge,,,boiled plain rice with lots of water till rice is all well done .

U can have nice hot fresh ginger tea in the morning. Gargle with salt water for ur sore throat. After U have brushed ur teeth, brush ur tongue right inside where U see the "blobs" it is infected so remove the bacteria. Then drink a glass of water only & wait for 20 mins to have ur breakfast.

Avoid eating rich foods till U have cleard all the "heatyness" in ur body & one fastest way is to clear ur stomach by drinking a good lexative tea,,,bring all the "gunk" out & u will feel so relieved. The reason U have this sore throat is because ur bowel movements is too irregular & not cleared for too long. U should drink half a glass of water every 30 minutes. This will help U clean & flush ur kidneys too.

Eat lots of fruits meanwhile, bananas, apples, kiwi, watermelon, cucumber & rub with a bit of salt will really help ur throat too. This will also help ur bowel movements. If U insist on being stubborn & not eat these as mentioned & u form a habit of eating lots of veggies , U will have problems with ur system, & never fail to drink water & not the silly gatorade type drinks.

REMEMBER!! SORE THROAT IS BECAUSE U HAVE NOT GONE TO CLEAR UR SYSTEM,

I would not do anything too acidic like the lemonade because it could irritate your throat more. Other than that, eat whatever you want, and gargle with warm salt water a few times a day.

Feel better soon!

i don't see how eating those things can effect you while your sick, if they make you feel better, go for it, i eat bagels with cream cheese whenever i'm sick for some reason, the only problem i'd see eating those things is your stomach might feel queezy, but if it doesn't go for it, also i'm sure you've heard of it but eat chicken noodle soup with lots and lots of garlic its the garlic that makes it the feel better soup....oh, vanilla bean icecream help goes well with a soar throat with me, that and cold milk and cereal
