Quick details about water fasting please! Do I really eat NO food? Won't I be lightheaded and pass out? How long should I do this? Do I drink anything special or just plain ol water?

fasting is totally unnecessary, the body fasts nightly during sleep, this is all that's needed. eating healthy and exercising flushes toxins from the body naturally as designed.

You can fast on just water for 3 days. You can probably have some boullion as well as the water. The first day will be the hardest but after that it will get easier. Make sure to drink a lot of water as this flushes your system. When you return to eating, your stomach should have strunk some so don't gorge on anything or you will be back to where you started.

water fasting is not a good method of weight loss. For starters, you are not getting the vitamins and nutrients needed for your body to function properly and lose weight in a healthy manner. Also, when yo begin eating again your metabolism will be confused because of the fasting and you will actually gain the weight back and chances are even more,. Instead of fasting, try to eat fruits and vegetables.. then you will get the nutrients and vitamins to assist your body in speeding up its functions and you will still lose weight.

You will be lightheaded... you might pass out. This isn't a smart way to diet. When your body realizes you aren't taking in any nurishment it goes into starvation mode and as soon as you start eating regularly it will grab onto every calorie possible... so you'll gain it all back if not more.

i coffee fast - i buy 1L of fatfree milk and drink just coffee. i don't like my coffee sweet, and i feel bit weak, but nothing i can't handle. when you waterfast you'll become weak, the second day will be the hardest, and the third will be easier, and easier the longer you go on. if you drink to much water you will become very weak, obviosly....but if you only drink when your thirsty you'll be fine. sometimes when you feel weak, it actually helps to just jump up and down a few times, or take a walk - just to get your heart beating, and new blood to your brain. Goodluck..... if you drink diet pills that curbs your hunger...when i drink it i'm usually energetic
