is there scientific proof for muslim belief?

researching the beliefs of muslims and christians, i have found the muslim belief is terribly off. the sun doesnt sink in a muddy swamp. while the bible has many scientific discoveries to back it up. So if the bible keeps being strong in truth what reasons do muslims follow their belief for besides been brought up with that religon. I could name dozens of proof for the bible and none for the muslim faith.

Oh, please do NOT say the bible claims scientific discoveries! Long before the bible was ever an idea in some socks-and-sandals scribe's brain ... the pagans (druids) and Greeks had charted the stars and understood the rotation of the planets around the sun. The bible only repeated what was common knowledge by some during that time.

"The limit where the twin suns set" does not mean the "place" of the setting of the sun. According to Ibn Kathir, it means that he marched to the West conquering one country after the other until he reached the last boundary of the land, beyond which there was ocean. "He found the sun setting in black muddy waters of the sea": if Dhul-Qarnain was Cyrus, then that place would be the western limit of Asia Minor and the "black waters" would be the Aegean Sea. This interpretation is supported by the use of the word "`ain" instead of "bahr" in the Qur'an.

your kidding right? the quran talks about aids, the cloning of the sheep, specific detalis about inside the womb, details about the atmosphere of the earth, and gives many facts about astronomy. and it was all revealed thousands of years ago. have you looked into the quran beofre drawing such an ignorant conclusion?
