How can I be sure whether she loves me or not?

Question

We have been very good friends since our childhood. These days I hardly get the opportunity to meet her as we both are busy with our jobs, but that really didn't affect our friendship.
I love her from the bottom of my heart, but I cannot be sure whether she has similar feelings for me or not. I could never express my feelings to her in the fear of loosing her and her friendship. Occasionally when we talked about our views on love in general and how she 'got rid of' the guys who had proposed her, I noticed that she is a bit conservative about relationships. So now if I go and propose her, it might also sound like a betrayal from her childhood friend and our friendship will be ruined forever..........
So please help me, I need to be sure before I proceed..........I simply cannot loose her.............

these decisions are hard one to make

all this is is judgement really. You can try to casully bring it up so that you dont surprise her by expressing your feelings. maybe tell her you love her and see how she takes it. If she laughs maybe she doesnt love you, but if she looks as if shes really thinking about then maybe there is a chance

I know the feeling, I'm in a similar relationship myself. All I kept doing is improving myself I got my degree and I just purchased a home I showed her that I have my act together. I was once told that falling in love is the easy part but liking someone is the hardest part. Because you need to be friends first and grow on that as a solid foundation. I'm in a position to propose to her but like you I feel the same way but now I have much more to lose. So ask yourself, do you deserve to feel this way where you are unsure? Just ask her and get your answer instead of torturing yourself. If she says no then it's her loss. Remember if you love something let it go if it comes back........ you know the rest.

I would assume that the best possible way to let her know how you feel without loosing her is to simply do just that. Don't wait either because it will be too late at that point. Just go tell her. Thats maybe risky but its the best. No more running around the bush. Most likely, she will be really flattered and probably likes you too. Give it a chance. I know with me, when he asked me, I loved him back. You need to take that chance otherwise you'll never know. You'll regret it.

If I had a best friend like you and I told them I got rid of everyone who proposed to me, I could be inferring that I would rather be yours than any of the others especially considering I've known you the longest. However, that's me. You are the man so you have to make the move. You cannot let fear stand in your way.

You put way too much to read so I skipped it and am just answering your actual question. Your lengthy info doesn't matter anyways. You can never know if anyone loves you or not truthfully. People are so clever and cunning they can deceive you through a lifetime and you will never know. Don't be a paranoid schizo but don't trust anyone to the fullest either. Just watch your own back and you will be better off.

this is just from experience
you can't plan these things out love just happens
and grows stronger over time
there is no real way to tell if someone loves u
u just have to learn to trust your instincts

just have to keep telling your self if it doesn't work out it wasn't meant to be
