The world today revolves around people opinions and choices that they make. My dad opinion on his religion will never change. He is so stubborn , not willing to open up , and not wanting to listen to other people perspective of views. He thinks his religion is the best and doesn’t want to know about anything other people believe. He read the bible and believe everything in it. I am more an open minded girl. I agree with my dad in the fact that we all should read the bible, but I also believe that people can believe what makes them happy and they should feel comfortable with their religion. Therefore, people shouldn’t be forced to believe in something. They should be able to find out by them selves what’s right and what’s wrong by them educating themselves. I look at different religions to see what the differences are.

Yes, there is a problem with what you said about "people can believe what makes them happy...". We are free to choose, yes, but that won't necessarily bring lasting happiness. People today are believing in material things & "if it feels good at the time, do it", but these only bring temporary happiness, as the person is always searching for the next thing to make them happy. Only in Jesus Christ and following Him will true & lasting happiness be found. If you believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died for your sins, was buried and rose again on the 3rd day, then believing in what He did and not what you do will result in lasting happiness.
Your dad believes what he is reading in the Bible and he's grounded in the truth of what the Holy Spirit has revealed to him. You should be very proud of him!
