Skip the pills, eat breakfast and lunch and start to walk. For the cost of the pills you can join Weight Watchers and get great advice about what to eat. Walk for at least 30 minutes every day. Or, if at home, walk up and down the stairs for 5 minutes and repeat it 2 or 3 times during the day.

When you don't eat during the day your body thinks you are starving and will lower your metabolism to conserve calories.
You can try doing sit ups and crunches to tighten your abs.

Eat about 1200 cals/day. Try for 5-10 servings of veggies, 2-4 servings of fruit, 2-3 servings dairy, 4-6 servings carbs, 2-3 servings protein daily. Limit fats and junk food.

The link below has the "DASH" 2000 calorie diet plan, which is a healthy weight maintenance diet. Simply decrease the number of servings of each food by about 25% to 30% to get a healthy weight loss diet.

Buy fresh fruits and veggies, lean cuts of meat like chicken, turkey and fish and stay away from prepackaged things. By whole grain products and whole grain breads. You need to eat 3 meals a day with a healthy snack between each meal and at bedtime to keep your metabolism up and your blood sugar more level. Also you can exercise at home. Jump rope, ride a bike, dance to a fave CD, fill empy milk jugs with water, sand or rice for weights. Walk up and down the stairs, walk or run in place.

Forget the gym. It's great for strength, agility and overall fitness, but it's not the way to lose weight. Forget pills, drugs or any other miracle cure.

The way to lose weight is to eat the way the body evolved to eat. And that is a very low carbohydrate diet. I did the Atkins diet for 12 weeks and lost 12 kilos (about 26 pounds). I did almost NO exercise, because I wanted to test the diet. And if you stick to it (no cheating at all!), it works amazingly.

You'll primarily eat protein and fat (fish, chicken, meat, and green vegetables), and you'll avoid starchy carbohydrates (bread, pasta, rice). And water is the only liquid your body needs. It takes a few days to adjust to it, as your body kicks the carbohydrate addiction, but after that it's the easiest diet you'll ever do. When you reach your ideal weight, you'll maintain it with the right balance of carbs.

I've tried a number of different ways of eating and exercising (except drugs, which I don't believe in), from vegetarianism to hard-core weight training, and the only one that worked was Atkins. And it blew me away to discover that the weight melted off from diet alone! Exercise to keep the body strong, but eat right to keep its size right.

Eat foods high in fibre during the day make sure you have a big breakfast :- A bowl of bran flakes or porridge with a banana, black tea or coffee - stay away from toast and butter.

Lunch have lean meats and salad or a baked potato

have a small snack for dinner and if your hungry in the night snack on cucumber or peppers, I think it'll take you a while to get used to not eating in the night.
