big boned or not the body composition is a result of the diet that you follow and your daily level of exercise. the size of the human skeletal system has absolutely no effect on the body composition.

i know that there are gonna be a hundred fatties that will try to say your perfect at that wieght...but i will be the voice of total honesty here cause i am a very health concious person and tell you, that you are about 25-30 pounds over wieght.

now the phras big boned maybe means to you, that you have a wider structure, like your shoulder or your hip bones are set bigger...but the term big boned by the sense that your bones are somehow heavier is actually a old pharse....scientist have studied many sets of bones and determined that bones wiegh the same no matter what...and that only 2 circumstances can impact bone wieght...brittle bone disease which makes bones lighter and less dense...and then thicker bones that occur when, usually a man, lifts heavy wieghts for a prolonged period of time.

First of all, check with your doctor to see if you can excerise, if you can start walking, I would think a good gold to start with would be a 13 min mile, I walk three mile almost every day at a mall and I am slowly losing weight, start slow and work your way up to your level.Good Luck

It's a healthy weight, but be careful not to gain much more weight. Any more than 145lbs at your height would be considered overweight if you were using BMI.

PS. If you lost 30lbs, like the person below me said, you'd almost be underweight. I personally think 125lbs would be a perfect weight for your height.

I can't see you so I don't know if you are chunky or not. Weight has nothing to do with being chunky or not is how you LOOK.
