It is well known that in LCDs picture contrast drops as the viewing angle increases.

Some panels are better than others. However, in most LCDs you should see the reverse of what you describe - in other words the blacks look grayish or dark green and the picture looks "washed out" as you move away from the center.

Hi,

Did you check your settings, maybe they need adjustment. You might try setting it back to the manufacturers settings.
