guys are straightforward as hell...i've always known that if a guy wants nothing w. you - to be friends or anything, he'll cut you off completely
but what about if he'll cut you off and them come back, cut you off and come back? or just be there, but not completely - doesn't wanna get too close and too attached?

OHHHH, hell no. I hate to break this to you, but guys will string you along forever if you let them. He likes to know that you're there, waiting, on the offchance he might call. You're somewhat of a security blanket for his ego, even if he doesn't really want to be involved with you. He will keep you there, just in case he needs a little ego-stroking from time to time.
Take my advice ... if a guy indicates in any way that he is not interested in a relationship with you, make sure he knows in return that you are no longer available to him, period.

Sounds to me like a person that is doing that is hanging on to a sure thing until something better comes along,and the answer to your question is ,No all men will not cut you off completely when they are done with you and they will keep you on the hook until something better comes along,and some women are like that as well.

I'm a girl and I want to know this too! Guys are soooo confusing! I think if they keep in contact with you even a little, it means they do like you a little bit but not enough to make you his girlfriend. If a guy really likes a girl he will want to call her and be with her all the time.

That behavior is so obvious. he keeps coming back because nothing better is coming along for him, so he comes back and fishes with you....why are you making yourself available to such an immature, insecure crud? Listen, guys like this all have ONE thing in common...they are the insecure ones...they can't make up their minds what they want, so they blow it with the great girls and end up with the ones that end up cheating on them, the ones that end up being totally unreliable and undependable. Stay away from these types of guys...Because your feelings are not of any interest to them.

hahaha thats funny if you actually think that.
guys dont cut girls off. even when the friendship/relationship is over, theyll keep em around as backup. a sexfriend, one night stand, occasional hookup, etc. thats what he thinks of you. why do you think so many girls get so jealous of other guys' exs?? caz the guy keeps em around!
GIRLS, on the other hand, are the ones who cut the opposite off after the break up. usually caz theyre emotionally attached. so i guess that makes him... a girl?????
