I suppose I would be considered a serious drinker although I don't think in that way. I have two or three large glasses of whisky most days, in fact I'm enjoying one now, I am reaching the end of my life being almost eighty years old. I can afford to have these drinks, at this moment I have just passed all of the MOT tests and I told my Doctor that I enjoy a drink mostly at lunch time, He asked my how large was a whisky and I told him, he replied " when I get your age I would also like to enjoy a drink when I wanted." I don't hurt anyone. I don't drink and drive, I don't really get intoxicated, it rather gives me a little sleep in the afternoon when I have completed my jobs. There's a good chance I will die happy, Cheer's

Medical communities would say 5-6 drinks a week is acceptable, religious groups is less unless of course you are having communion. I drink 1-2 glasses of wine a day, sometimes a few beers on the weekend and liquor on special occasions. It is all acceptable to me and my partner and that is all that matters to me.

Drink some beer everyday, I work construction so the beer taste really good after a long hot day in the sun. I think it is only unacceptable if it affects you and everything else you do negatively.

I use wine every day in the course of cooking, if it"s not drinkable, then it"s not cookable. Yes I do drink and at times to excess, but long days in a kitchen, you need to relax at the end of a long day, and sometimes the best relief is a large scotch or three or four.

I drink 1-2 glasses of wine or 1-2 beers a day with my dinner (depending on what the meal is, the time of year etc.)
I drink tequila on special occasions (holidays, birthdays, weddings etc.).
I hope it is all acceptable! lol!

I don't drink, gave up 5 years ago x Think you should ask yourself how much is acceptable to you, if you think you have a drink problem then you probabaly have.
