I was raised in a hunting household and still enjoy doing it from time to time.

I consider it a responsibility as a non-vegetarian to kill my own meat from time to time. It prevents me from taking many things, not just my meals, for granted.
Don't get me wrong, it is a responsibility that I greatly enjoy.

I have fished from earliest memory, and started hunting with home made bow and arrows when very young. I started hunting with a rifle as soon as I was tall enough to hold both ends off the ground at the same time.

I used to, Michelle, before I moved to the city. One year when I was between jobs I actually kept my family fed with venison, wild boar & wild turkey all legally taken during hunting season.

I am still a 'meat' hunter but don't get out as much as I'd like so our tablefare comes from the big, chain grocery stores n meat markets.

Best.

good ?? I hunt for meat but, i also hunt for the conservation of our wildlife. I believe ur question is trying to raise either hunting awareness or a more ethical question, should we kill?
Well, i was born into hunting and alot of uninformed people would say i was born into a family of murderers. well i hunt for the welfare of the animals. would u rather i shoot a turkey and eat it for thanksgiving with family, or would you rather that turkey suffer in the wild because an over abundance of wildlife with a depleted food source? i hunt for meat but, i also hunt for a better life for God's natural resources.
