It's a work in progress. We got no monkey and no snow men in Sydney .... I blame the international date line as to why the evolutionary process in North America is so far behind us.
You guys still have all the fun stuff... like Woolly Mammoths... Saber Tooth Tigers... Fundamentalist... Abominable Snowmen...

i'm hoping that this is an entire comedian tale and which you do not probably have self assurance that anybody with some modicum of reason believes that folk developed from monkeys. that may not what evolution teaches.
