Just tell her like it is. Your upset because you need time away or for whatever reason, and that you relied on her to be there and she wasn't.
Im not sure how she owes you 'hours' but if you tell her in a gentle manner you are more likely to get your hours.

Letting her know she pissed you off is probably a guarantee you will NEVER get the hours she owes you. I would take the high road and let her know you count on her and need her services. AFTER you get the time she owes you, try telling her that people wouldn't hire her if they didn't need her and that not showing up causes anger and pain.

How on earth does she owe you 250 hours? Nobody ever advance pays for baby sitting.

I take it she was paid in advance, took the money and ran in the opposite direction. She isn't a friend and you learned a valuable lesson...never ever ever pay someone for work they haven't done yet. And telling her you are pissed should do the trick....although I am still confused as to why you would want to remain friends with someone who has no second thoughts about ripping you off like that.

You should sit down and talk to her like an adult. Honesty is the key to any relationship weather it be your partner, friend, family or even someone that looks after your child. You wont get nothing from her until you speak to her or if your bad at talking write her a letter.. Good luck
