he lives it all to the girl. Feed him less, that may help.

Do you see signs of mice in your home? Maybe the mice realize that with two cats in the house, they'd better stay away from your place. My cat is a female, and she's pretty good at catching the occasional mouse. I think she wants to play with them, not eat them, though.
But get a few humane traps where you've seen the mice before, set them out, and keep an eye on them. When you catch a mouse, take the trap far from your home and let the mouse go. There's a park across the street from my apartment building, and the one time I got a mouse in a trap, that's where my boyfriend and I took him.

Some cats never lose their attraction towards mice, while others do. Maybe its because being fed gourmet food is easier than hunting. My last cat lived until 21 and she caught mice up until the end. My other cat lost interest in mice at about age 5. She is now 17. A mouse can run in front of her and she will just watch it go by. There is nothing you should do, its just the way cats are - they are all different (just as us humans are).

and maybe between the two of them you're out of mice...in the cat world it is the female that does most of the hunting naturally, perhaps he is simply allowing her to do what she does better.
