JOB 6:17 What time they wax warm, they vanish: when it is hot, they are consumed out of their place. PHI 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

I would think that if you didn't believe in God then you don't believe that the world is round either. Seeing is believing but personally I have never been in space so maybe the world is square and the Sun revolves around the Earth! Trust in the history of the early people as recorded in the Bible and have faith and God will reveal himself to you with a new vision.

You are obviously concerned enough that God exists to ask the question.
You are probably being called by God now. Have you tried praying about this? You should speak with your pastor or priest about your concerns. If you are asking what will happen if you don't believe the answers lay in the gospel of Jesus Christ. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. You can get a free Bible on line if you don't have one.

It's up to you what you believe. The belief in God to many represents security and the ability to rely on a much higher power, and an explanation for our presence. Faith in God can also be an important part of your life. Nevertheless, whatever religion you choose to follow or if you prefer to not choose a religion it is up to you.

I would read scripture and keep an open mind.
Also, examine your relationship with your father, is it/was it good or bad. According to some psychologists in erasing God from their minds they are really trying to erase their father from their minds, who may have been cold, distant, a jerk who knows.
I'm not sure about this but I love God with all my heart and can't imagine not believing in Him.

He still believes in you. You were once his child and He raised you to manhood teaching you all you would need to know about earthlife. You somehow got caught up in the things of the world and decided you didn't need Him to be happy. How wrong you are. Faith is the evidence of things not seen. If you plant the seed and nurture it, He will make it start to grow. But you have to plant the seed.
The Mormon missionaries can teach you about this. It is worth listening to.

Do you feel comfortable in yourself if you don't believe in God? Surely you've got to believe in something, i mean even Mother nature.

I don't believe, I don't need to, but if I never knew God or stopped believing him before he shown himself to me I would be a very miserable person without 'em

If atheists are right and Christians are wrong, then we all have nothing to lose. But if Christians are right and atheists are wrong then they sure have alot to lose. I'll take Christianity anyday. I believe in God.
