go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food after 7 p.m.
I know a woman who lost 60 pounds a month on it. She did nothing else!

First of all - don't set yourself a deadline. Instead, make changes in your lifestyle that will last you a life time. And remember - the changes has to be positive or you'll never be able to do them! Start by adding some healthy food to your diet, something you really like. Stuffing yourself with cottage cheese won't do you any favours if you hate it! Pay attention when you eat (sit down at a table, don't watch tv or drive a car when eating as it distracts you from the food and it's easy to overeat). Also, find a sport that you love to do. Integrate movement in your daily routines - take the stairs instead of the lift (or some stairs, at least), get off the bus to and from work a few stops before and walk the rest. Small changes will make a huge difference - for ever.

it depends on the food you have been intaking. in the past 5 months i have went from 190 to 155. but im a 17 yr old male, so obviously the way i did it might not work out for you. what i did was cut out all the unnecessary sugar i had been intaking(soda, cookies, candy, brownies, ice cream, etc.) make sure you eat three good quality squared meals a day, the kind of stuff high in protein that just burns off of you like eggs for breakfast. also it is important to get a good quality workout in 3 to 4 times a week. i started off doing 6mph on a treadmill for 20min, now im up 2 8mph for 35 min. its all determination, if you have the right mind set you can lose the weight.

1) Eat properly and often
- Your body needs food to survive, if you don't eat on a regular basis it goes into a starvation mode and stores all it can. Eat small healthy meals on a more regular basis, that way your body will know that it will be getting food again and stop storing. This will also increase your metabolism. Also don't skip meals like breakfast or lunch. This again will cause your body to store more the next time you eat.
- avoid eating alot of starches and carbs. Don't cut them out completely, just reduce the amount you are getting, IF you eat alot of pasta or breads.
- Eat alot of vegitables. Majority of vegis contain mostly water and nutrients. They take more energy to break down than they give.
- Avoid eating lots of fruit. Fruit contains natural sugars that convert into fat in the body. Again don't cut them out completely as your body needs these nutrieants, just regulate how much you eat.
2) Exercise.
- High cardio burns the most fat
- If you have never done any sort of cardio exercise before, start slow and don't try to do the hardest fastest at the start.
- Remeber that you will sweat out alot of mositure at the begining and will see dramatic results right away (which is how alot of fad diets and execise gimics trick you). You will then see a slow down of your weight loss, and in some cases a slight increase in your weight as you burn fat an increase muscle. Muscle is heavier than fat.
- Maintain a regular schedule in you exercise, don't do it haphazardly or you will get bored or frustrated and quit.

Try having a balanced diet with lots of fruits and vegetables , and it's okay to occasionally eat something kinda sugary or fatty as long as you don't have too much.Maybe you could write a food diary and at the end of the week sit down and think about where you could improve some of your eating habits.Don't go on any fad diets, which make you starve,as you gain weight afterwards.Remember if you want to be healthy and slim all your life , your eating habits have to be changed for life! Also try various exercises don't do only one, you'll get bored and give up!Maybe if you want you could do weights so you could get muscles, it wouldn't have to show (muscle helps burn fat faster). You could go on walks, go biking, do yoga, play basketball, aerobics and swimming!I hope you reach your goal! And a tip is every time you feel like eating something fatty think of it mixed with food you hate e.g chocolate with garlic!! Ewww! GOOD LUCK!
