Thank you to those who have responded....in answer to some of the comments....I know this question makes me seem like an awful person, however I have been treated terribly and insulted by the owner of a small business that I have been a customer at. I know that this business is taking alot of money under the table and I admit to being tempted to giving this woman (owner) her just desserts.

You can report anything to anyone anonymously, however, if your report is anonymous, it may not be recieved as seriously. You may want to ask if the IRS what they do with your information if you give it to them.

Yes you can. But to report someone to the IRS you need some level of detail about how they are cheating, not just "they're cheating on their taxes".

I think first you need to ask yourself why am I thinking of reporting them at all? What are my motives? Doing the right thing is important.
