There are verses that say that you cannot see God (Exodus 33:20; John 1:18). Yet In the Old Testament, God appeared many times to many people (Gen. 17:1; 18:1; Ex. 6:2-3; 24:9-11; 33:20; Num. 12:6-8).In Acts 7:2 Stephan states Men, brethren, and fathers, hearken; The God of glory appeared unto our father Abraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charran. And of course jesus appeared to many and I do believe most christians still consider him a god.
What do you believe? Give source, chapter and verse.

God is a spirit, and humans can't see spirits. We can see what the power of God has done, though, as in creating Earth, parting the Red Sea, etc. I'm no expert, but I think that's what the verses in the Bible mean when it says God has appeared to somebody. Sorry, I don't have any verses in mind to back me up. I don't happen to believe that Jesus and God are the same person, but I won't get into that right now.

The Old Testament was a completely different time and Jesus changed many things. We can hear Him and talk to him and feel His presence. Jesus doesn't always come in His own body, neither do angels. You should always be aware if someone is in need they maybe an angel to test your
wisdom on God;s word. They can look like anyone you have never seen or never will again.=======

I believe that the God of the Bible, Torah and the Quran are the same. It is stated that no one will see God until they die and return to him. So to answer your q, no I don't think the biblical God ever appeared to mankind. I also don't believe that Jesus is God.

No man has seen God.
Yet many see him.
Contradiction?
No. God has come in many forms even in the form of man our lord Jesus Christ,.
The wholeness of God is not a form of a man and no man has seen the wholeness of God.
