What of the millions upon billions killed in the name of god over the last 2,000 years. Perhaps I am that kind of Atheist and simply felt they killed the wrong demographic... wink wink!

"Your own"? Is this more "freethinking" logic? Just because two people share a superficial and generic label that has no real meaning doesn't imply that there is some sort of connection. Why is it so hard to understand that denominations are independent? You probably share more in common with Mike Murdock than I do. You might as well stop wearing shoes because Mike Murdock wears shoes. And if you want to superficially connect individuals by their labels, then why don't you explain to me why 'freethinkers' systematically murdered 180,000,000 people in the last 100 years? Oh, you aren't *that* kind of atheist, are you?

There are good and bad people in all religions and walks of life. Yes, this person sounds ridiculous and they are trying to cheat people out of their money. However, there are also many Christians that are very good people, and lumping them all together with this one practice is really not doing justice to the great things they have done.
By the way, I'm not even Christian... but that doesn't change the fact that I wanted to point out to you. They aren't all like this, so don't try to attack them.
