I am thinking of buying a used gun, Walther PPK/S in 9mm Kurz.

Is ther any way to buy it from the internet? Can you tell me a reliable internet dealer?

Or if I want to buy it by walk-in, where should I go?

Thanks!

First off, find someone who knows about guns. Pawn shops have alot of guns, but many times are pretty shady in their dealings. I have looked at tons of guns before at pawn shops, and have noticed alot of problems with certain ones where the salesman tried to brush off as minor. Walthers are pretty good guns, but just make sure of the availability of ammo, and cost. You might end up buying a sweet gun, but if it's to expensive to take out target practicing, what's the use. Buying a gun on-line is ok, I've done it a few times, but again, there are a few things you need to be careful of. One, is you can't ship a gun through the mail unless you have a class III FFL (federal firearms license). So, you would have to find someone who has one and they would have to ship it to them. This is common, and legal, but the person receiving the gun usually charges about $20 if not more. Second, go through a REPUTABLE company. Do some research, not only on the gun, but where you are buying it. I usually go through www.gunsamerica.com to reasearch average prices and comparisons. It's kinda like E-bay for guns. There are also alot of reputable dealers on there. There are many more sights like that to go to as well, just ask around.

If you are asking this type of question here you obviously have no idea about the law with regards Fire-arms, or the age requirements.

YOU cannot buy a gun on line until security checks, have been carried out and you produce the relevant paperwork.

Go to a pawn shop. They should run a check on you but that should not be a problem.
